INGREDIENTS

Ground beef (any ground meat works)

Vegetables (whatever is available typically works)

Carrots

Celery

Onion

Bell pepper

Garlic

Stock (vegetable or beef is what I usually use)

Mashed potatoes

Salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, chili powder, cumin

Cornstarch slurry

DIRECTIONS

Brown meat. Drain and set aside.

Cook vegetables till tender.

Add garlic and cook just till you can start to smell it. (About a minute)

And stock and then seasonings.

Bring to a boil and stir in slurry to thicken.

Put meat back into pan

Cover with mashed potatoes.

Put in preheated oven (375)

Cook until potatoes are golden brown. The gravy will probably be bubbling over the potatoes.

Remove from oven and let set for 10 minutes before serving.
