Shepherd’s Pie

Hello SAVORY SATISFACTION! This has all the favorites of a mommas home cooked meal. It’s macronutrient balanced with proteins, fats, carbs and allll the veggies. INGREDIENTS
Ground beef (any ground meat works)
Vegetables (whatever is available typically works)
Carrots
Celery
Onion
Bell pepper
Garlic
Stock (vegetable or beef is what I usually use)
Mashed potatoes
Salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, chili powder, cumin
Cornstarch slurry
DIRECTIONS
Brown meat. Drain and set aside.
Cook vegetables till tender.
Add garlic and cook just till you can start to smell it. (About a minute)
And stock and then seasonings.
Bring to a boil and stir in slurry to thicken.
Put meat back into pan
Cover with mashed potatoes.
Put in preheated oven (375)
Cook until potatoes are golden brown. The gravy will probably be bubbling over the potatoes.
Remove from oven and let set for 10 minutes before serving.
